No, our Scratch & Dent Cover is a standalone policy. Claims will not affect your short-term vehicle insurance policy.
How to claim for scratch and dent cover?
To claim on your Scratch & Dent policy you need to contact our call centre on 0860 10 47 89 from Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 17:00 and one of our helpful consultants will guide you through the process.
What is not covered under the scratch and dent policy?
- Any damage not defined as a light scratch, chip, dent, tear or scuff mark.
- Damage as a result of hail or natural disasters.
- Pre-existing damage.

What is the waiting period?
90 days from commencement of the policy, unless we have inspected your vehicle, in which case the waiting period will be waived.

No. Budget Scratch and Dent Cover only covers light motor vehicles.
